Should the National Dex come back?

I comletely agree as someone who started with the newer games and played the 3ds ones later I felt like they really weren’t trying with the switch titles especially scarlet and violet i mean the switch games are laughably easy to complete and also to shiny hunt in it just takes the fun out of pokemon for me and if they thought they were preserving their game they probably already took out what makes pokemon, pokemon

They also downgraded a lot of great features they went to fun ev training methods in xy to just vitamins in scarlet and violet they went from the magnificent Pokemon Amie to the okay camp to the awful picnic which also ruined egg hatching since if you left two pokemon at a nursery you don’t have to sit around for 30 minutes to collect the eggs you could literally do anything you want while waiting it feels like the biggest downgrade ever also they should bring back patches of grass and get rid of overworld encounters after playing pokemon x I’ve realized the magnificence of this feature and how it gives more random results for what pokemon you get I mean it only makes finding rarer pokemon much more exciting also forced trainer battles with legitimate trainer classes I mean it adds more to the story and has pretty iconic classes that were not in scarlet and violet like lass swimmer and hiker

I know that this might be an unpopular opinion but they should bring back HM’s I know it’s annoying when it takes up a move slot but it leads to some very interesting puzzles you can solve making the game more immersive and some of the classic things to do like planting berries, fishing, finding secret items that are ACTUALLY hidden. Also the HM’s have led to some cool exploration like dive

the more time goes on the more I realize scarlet and violet are the worst game in the series and if you say otherwise I’m actually questioning if you’ve only played the switch titles because if so you missed out on the peak of Pokemon

Also I dislike how they are choosing to release mobile games instead of spinoffs though Tcg pocket released and I really like it so far there have been so many other mobile games that suck to play Tcg live (bugs), pokemon sleep (boring), pokemon unite (P2W), Pokemon home (inferior pokemon storage), and go (the massive selling game that is probably the main reason that there has been a decrease in quality for Pokemon games) at this point i worry about what Pokemon will do I do hold the franchise close to my heart and I honestly don’t want to see their downfall and if they use the scarlet and violet engine that might just happen

If what is said about legends z-a is true that means that legends arceus was a complete fluke they made something good but they did not know how they did that and opted to use sv sloppy awful system instead of legends arceus beautiful unique artstyle and system

Sorry if I sound a little pushy or even mad I’m not trying to do that I’m just mad with what direction they are going with the franchise (mobiles and lazy mainline games) and wish they can realize what made those older Pokemon games magical and bring back that magic I would actually be all in if they went 2d again or if not that linear
