I’ve got a theory- hear me out

So there are two awful bugs that are taxing us all at the moment. The first is the random disappearance of points from the ladder. I’ve lost three big whacks of points- 140, then 200 and 80 last night.

the other bug is the time-out bug where the other players game never even loads and they “concede”.

I’m wondering if the “time-out loss” is being cancelled in the background game log somewhere, cancelling out their loss due to time-out and in turn, removing my ‘wins’ at the same time. If I look at the ladder points I’m losing then they equate to 7, 10 and 4 wins and these could feasibly be cancelled “time-out-bug” victories that get deleted.

anyway- that’s my theory. I know others have lost significant numbers too so this possibly falls over when people are genuinely losing 400+ points…

I agree. Perhaps "they concede"ed is like just a "if not" statement in the code. The app might think they conceded but the server doesn't? I dunno, your theory is plausible to me.

No, losses are only being accrued and never canceled. Otherwise it would not have been possible for me to gain 850 losses after going AFK for a few hours.
