Fusion Strike Energy x Neutralizing Gas (Galarian Weezing)
Galarian Weezing has the following ability "Neutralizing Gas: As long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, your opponent’s Pokémon in play have no Abilities, except for Neutralizing Gas."
If I attach a Fusion Strike Energy to a Genesect V, it should prevent the effects of that ability to the Pokémon, allowing it to use it's ability Fusion Strike System, because the final sentence of Fusion Strike Energy reads "Prevent all effects of your opponent’s Pokémon’s Abilities done to the Pokémon this card is attached to."
Currently, this interaction is broken and Fusion Strike System cannot be activated on a Genesect V with a Fusion Strike Energy attached while Galarian Weezing is in the opponents Active Spot.

Just tested with a friend and it worked.
Possibilities:
LIKELY: Temple of Sinnoh was in play, fusion strike energy turned into a colorless energy with no effect. While it's not in the battlepass Eternatus Vmax list, it tends to be run in the more competitive versions of the list.
Path to the Peak was in play, so while Genesect V was protected from Weezing, it still had no ability due to the Path to the Peak.
