I mean XY is my second favorite but Legends Arceus has some really well orchestrated themes.

Also two unrelated themes I wanna throw out there is Great Fairy's Fountain from Skyward Sword and Unwavering Belief from lost Judgment.

I listen to a lot (I mean a lot of ost’s) even some weird ones like pokemon dash I’ve probably listened to most of the Pokemon osts out there and they are all at a very high tier and they are very unique from each other

Pokémon Black/White & Black 2/White 2

This is honestly a really, and I stress really hard question to answer because Pokémon has had really solid OST regardless of what Generation it happens to be. I do like Generation 1 alot given its close relationship with the Anime and do have memories of playing Gen 2 with my friend's copy of Gold but I have to give the nod to Gen 5 or specifically Black2/White2. A lot of attention to detail went into the OST for these sequels with various locations having their themes subtly changed depending on the Season, unique Gym Themes(Elesa standing out amongst them all but ditto Roxie and Skyla), a banger of an Elite 4 theme and honestly my 2nd favorite Champion theme with Iris. Add on the PWT where we get all previous Gym Leader and Champion themes and it's hard to argue against this being number 1.

Not sure what Generation I'd put behind it honestly but if I had to pick one, it'd probably be Kalos or Gen 6. Despite its difficulty being super easy, it's OST is honestly not that bad with an honorable mention to ORAS. Zinnia + Elite 4 theme are really good.
