Old but Powerful card review: Mega Gengar-EX
This card was known for "copying" its opponent's attacks (including Tera Pokémon's attacks) without being detected as using a GX attack! Sadly, this card isn't playable in Pokémon TCG Live any more.
(Mega Gengar-EX (XY: Phantom Forces 35/119). Pay attention to its only attack.)
(Zoroark-GX (Sun & Moon: Shining Legends 53/73) for comparison. Pay attention to its GX attack.)
What do you think about Mega Gengar-EX?
(Note: Pokémon-EX shouldn't be confused with Pokémon ex.)

Current standard format it's pritty balanced, even all the current ex era so far is... Charizard deck is far from being broken, the fact that it's a consistent top meta deck isn't saying much, Miraidon has being there, Lost box, etc.
If you go back to VMax era when Mew VMax came out, that's what unbalanced is, a broken deck that completely dominated everything, even decks made purely to counter it failed a lot.
If you go back a little more to GX era, you probably remember how hated ADP was... another broken deck that dominated virtualy until was rotated out.
And there were many more examples that you can't compare with Charizard ex not even close… it is a great deck but far from being broken to the point that makes the format unbalanced, to me it's not even my choise for the best current deck.

I know. Also, Mega Gengar-EX has the following disadvantage(s):
- It isn't a Tera Pokémon, as XY series doesn't has any Tera Pokémon at all.

I just checked and M Gengar EX has zero results on Limitless. It probably wasn't consistent enough against popular decks.

I have the Gengar, and it is insane. My friends just use the cards that deal the most damage, so I use that card like and uno reverse 🤣
