Weird Game Behavior on PC
So in a Ranked Match a few minutes ago, after I attacked my opponents pokemon, the game client graphics froze but my timer off to the right kept going.
No visual effects taking place and the game kept cycling turn timers as well. Was showing my opponents activity in the battle log but I could not actually play.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Has not a thing to do with my connection, since I could log in to write this simultaneously 😑

A similar situation just happened to me. I was playing and was about to win. My opponent had placed a Gravity Stone on their active Pokémon. I attached energies to my Ralts using Gardevoir Ex to retreat, but when I tried to pay the retreat cost, the graphical interface froze with the Ralts card stuck in front of me. The timer on the side disappeared, along with the button to end my turn. The screen stayed frozen like this for about 10 minutes, with the 15-second countdown periodically appearing until I closed and reopened the game, only to find that the match was counted as a loss. Additionally, my daily mission to complete a match without surrendering wasn’t triggered, even though I never clicked to surrender—I simply closed the game because it was frozen. I know it wasn't a connection issue because Windows did not show any signs of lost connection.
This is incredibly frustrating. This isn’t the first time this type of error has occurred, and having the match counted as a loss makes it even worse. It’s really discouraging to play this game knowing that glitches can occur at any moment, causing my match to count as a loss when I was clearly winning.
If it’s not possible to identify and fix all the bugs to ensure a functional game, at least consider removing the overall win, loss, and win streak counters (which honestly don’t serve much purpose beyond ego; tracking wins and losses by each player-created deck would make much more sense and help identify which deck variations are more effective). Additionally, make ranked play less punitive in cases of timeout or disconnection. This way, an undeserved loss due to errors beyond the player’s control won’t significantly impact the game.
