Why do people like infinite fusion?

It has bad audio quality, clunky controls (with keyboard) and weird pokemon.

Because of the ability to fuse pokemon.

It's mainly for one of the things you listed, the weird Pokémon. I think a lot people just like the appeal of being able to mix together Pokémon they like and form a strange hybrid between the two. Also some of the fused Pokémon include references to other franchises or bits of media, so that brings in some more people.
