Not to sound rude, but that was already kind of obvious with what I said in the title. But thanks.

I mean I have been considering trying VTM but I don’t know anyone who plays it nor do I think it’s fitting for A PMD homebrew.

Experience outside of one system is good. You will always learn something, and hopefully have fun doing it. Even if you don't use the system wholesale for a homebrew, there will probably be elements or mechanics that you do like or find appropriate to lift from it.
If you don't have a group or cannot find one, you could always play VtM Bloodlines if you haven't already. It's a really good story and decent adaption of the system and setting.
Sadly it's a bit dated now, and you will need fan patches and mods to clean it up and get it running properly. I think GoG includes the fan patch, but you may need to look up a guide to get the best experience as close to vanilla as possible.

@TheJeffers I have played Bloodlines! It’s what got me interested in the tabletop, actually. That haunted mansion really freaked me out.
My only complaint right now is the lack of a map or quest marker.
Either way, I still don’t know much about how it plays in the tabletop, I still need to read into the rule book.
