Can cancelling a picnic affect masuda breeding in scarlet and violet
I am currently trying to get a shiny perfect iv popplio but I am wondering if I can just close a picnic and just continue my progress later

Yeah, you can close the picnic and come back later! Masuda method happens whenever those two Pokemon are together, so you can stop and come right back to it. Good luck with your hunt!

ive done this for my shiny skeledirge. The perfect iv is unnecessary as they have released hypertrainning. Bottle cap those stats! Waiting around from my experience(no shiny charm) you could be at that for days. Used a 5iv foreign ditto to do it and just kept using the better spawn. Either way hope it works out @CheeseyQueso
