Weakness and resistances don't work

I've noticed that whenever I attack pokemon that has a weakness to mine, the weakness is never added on, so a fire type is just doing regular damage to a grass type.

several Pokemon have (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance) in the attack like Delphox V for example it doesn't apply weakness to opponent bench. one more thing some people mistake is that Charizard ex it's not a fire type Pokemon!
are those the Pokemon you're using? if not check if it's attack got don’t apply Weakness in it, likely it's what you're missing or give exact examples of what Pokemon you are really playing and your opponent.
