I'd go with Chansey (because it's friendly and commonly helps at pokemon centers) or Drampa (it loves children most of all)

Ditto, maybe. Because it can turn into anything a kid needs. (Of course, I'd have turn worry about it turning into the kid and stealing their lives.)
