Manipulated cards
I used the card Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking and while I was suppose to have the first two cards be set, when I drew next it was still a random card. This has happened to me a few times, in a few cases outright losing me matches. Has anyone else experienced issues with this card's effect?

It has worked fine with me, are you sure you didn't perform any action that shuffle the deck after using it?
There are a lot of cards and abilities that shuffle the deck in the end that you might have missed... like, lets say you use a Nest Ball after Ciphermaniac's, it losses its purpose because the card you put 1st its shuffle as all the deck.

There is also the possibility if goes to your opponent turn they may mess up with your deck, shuffling it, move or even discard cards from it.
