Pokémon that feel like they're from a different generation

I just learned that Skarmory isn't actually a Gen III Pokémon! It's interesting because I knew Slugma was from before then, but wasn't sure about Skarmory. On a side note, Meltan and Melmetal are actually Gen VII, even though I always connect new Pokémon generations new consoles, like Let's Go on the Switch.

Even though Skarmory is THE Pokémon people always talk about when talking about this stuff, I keep forgetting it's gen 2 and thinking it's from Hoenn. I should've memorised Skarmory as a Johto mon by now, but I constantly forget. I blame Jasmine and her having two Magnemites.

ok it's obvious now but i just found out what the spambots were doing on page 3 naming random countries
if you go on page 3 and 4 and hover over the country names like Qatar and Phillipines they link to spam websites, the text doesn't look any different but they are hyperlinks
why is this thread a bot honeypot

to be clear @Hamzaaaaay @Juannanana @PikaCHooo69 all have links in the country names in their posts
@receiptify @Askipoke are also spam posters, they pretended to be humans making fun of the bots but they were posting spam links too in their country names
mods please delete these stealth links, again you can see them if you hover over the text, they were just promoting their sites all along, maybe make hyperlinks look different from regular text too

After some thinking, I have a theory about the upcoming Pokemon Legends Z-A. Notice how Torterra, Serperior, Inceneroar, and Feraligator haven't been featured in a Tera Raid Battle yet? Could this be a hint about the starters in Legends Z-A? Perhaps Snivy, Turtwig, Litten, and Totodile will be the new starters, and their Tera Raid Battles are being saved for after the official reveal!
