Why is Pokemon TCG Live allowing Charizard EX to use Burning Darkness with only one energy?
This recently happened to me while playing, and, maybe I missed something, and if I did, so be it, but my opponent was able to use Burning Darkness with only one fire energy attached to Charizard EX. I know that Radiant Charizard's energy requirements reduce after prize cards are taken, but I didn't think that was the case with Charizard EX. Anyone have a thought?

Burning Darkness attack is only for Charizard ex (not EX!). This attack costs 2 Fire Energy attached to Charizard ex to do at least 180 damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon. This attack can do more damage depending to the number of Prize cards your opponent took during a game. (Example: If your opponent took 3 Prize cards during a game, your Charizard ex's Burning Darkness does 180 + 30 x 3 = 270 damage.)
If Pokémon TCG Live allowed Charizard ex to use Burning Darkness with only 1 Fire Energy attached to that Pokémon, that maybe a bug. If so, you should report that bug as soon as possible. Thanks for reading.

Radiant Charizard ability has nothing to do with the other Pokémon atacks energy cost.
Probably your opponent had the PGO 010/078 Charizard in the bench, its ability "Burn Brightly" says "Each basic Fire Energy attached to your Pokémon provides two Fire Energy". This applies to all of your opponent Pokémon that had fire energy attached including the Charizard ex. So it could atack with only one energy attached.
