Only Three Pokemon Ever
Fun scenario question:
If you could, for the rest of your life, only ever own cards of THREE Pokemon, which 3 Pokemon would they be?
Rules and things to think about:
-You cannot CHANGE which Pokemon you choose. Once you have chosen, you can never pick something else.
-You MUST give up every card you own that is NOT one of these three Pokemon.
-You acquire FOR FREE every single card ever made and that ever will be made of the Pokemon you choose.
-Note: your cards will be monetarily worthless (have no value) because, keep in mind, only those that have also chosen your Pokemon will ever be able to buy them from you or trade you for them, and those that have chosen your Pokemon will already have for free all of the cards you do or ever will have. This forces you to choose Pokemon you actually like and want, rather than base it all off of monetary value.
-Ignore the consequences regarding crashes in the market. This is FOR FUN and to see which Pokemon are the most popular, and which Pokemon people actually like.
Disclaimer: It is a fantasy scenario and obviously will never happen. No promises are being made, and you are not actually getting these things. Again, it’s for fun.

Yes 100% AGREE. Also as a player and not a collector, I would not be able to build a deck ever again.😢
But, since this is just for fun, I would probably go with Wigglytuff, —Even though it doesn't have many great cards — Dragonite — It's got some beautiful arts from Sun and moon, and the evolving skies one is cool. And lastly, I'd pick Zard since it has too many amazing arts. Zard isn't one of my favorite pokemon, but it also has special value to me because I've done so well with it during tournaments. Also, all my other favorite pokemon have no good arts.

Side note: I love the thought behind this part:
“your cards will be monetarily worthless (have no value) because, keep in mind, only those that have also chosen your Pokemon will ever be able to buy them from you or trade you for them, and those that have chosen your Pokemon will already have for free all of the cards you do or ever will have. This forces you to choose Pokemon you actually like and want, rather than base it all off of monetary value.”
My mind immediately went to getting money from this, so not only making it against the rules but explaining a not-at-first-glance but super valid point (the only people who can buy it from you already have it) was really sweet. Again, this is random, but just wanted to shout out that high-level rationale.

Choosing only three Pokémon cards to own for the rest of my life is quite a challenge! I believe everyone has some greats choices here.

I'd have to go with the Frigibax series from Paldea
