Bug prevents attacking opponent’s bench

I’ve encountered this bug several times today where I or an opponent uses an attack that targets the bench and the damage is blocked. This is without the presence of any Pokemon with abilities that interfere with this (ex. Manaphy) on the board or any other cards that should be causing this. I’m not sure what is triggering this bug as it seems to occur inconsistently.

-Probably the Pokémon in bech had a Mist Energy: This Energy prevent all effects of attacks used by your opponent's Pokémon done to the Pokémon this card is attached to. (Existing effects are not removed. Damage is not an effect.)

-Or the bench Pokémon was a Tera Pokémon: Terastallization rule box (rulebox it's not an ability) Pokémon cannot be damaged while they are on the bench.
