Pokemon TCG Live inexplicably won't connect to the internet. Anyone else have this issue?
TCG LIve inexplicably stopped connecting to the internet yesterday morning. This seems to be the only program on my computer that can't access the internet, my browsers and other games work just fine. TCG Live won't connect wirelessly or when using an ethernet cable. Pokemon Support provided some suggestions that did not work. I uninstalled and re-installed the program, but this did not fix the problem. I restarted my router and modem, and rebooted several times. I cleared my DNS cache and stopped my antivirus software and firewall. None of it worked. Yesterday morning the program was working, and a couple hours later it wasn't. I didn't notice any updates or changes to the computer that could have caused this. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, how did you fix it? I am running Windows 11 on an Acer 5 Nitro (more than enough processing power to play TCG Live), using Glofiber ISP.

I believe it’s a problem with the game itself like maybe it doesn’t have access to your internet, did you try settings

Same here, it loads up to 8/43, then reset, loads up to 8/43, repeat. i even tried the "switch time zones to USA" trick, still does not work for me 😱 😱 😱

I solved this problem a day or two after my original post. I believe the problem was Windows Firewall after a Windows update. I did a 'system restore' to a restore point the day before the game stopped working. After that, the game worked fine. I got a weird message when I ran the game after the system restore, saying Windows Firewall wanted to block it, and I simply allowed it. I use Norton Security, so I am confused why Windows Firewall was even monitoring it. Regardless, the game works now for me. I recommend checking your Firewall settings and making any adjustments, and if that fails, restore to a point before the game stopped working.

Yeah, I tried a lot of the fixes offerred by others… but SheriffJonStone had the ultimate solution. It is being blocked by your firewall. You need to manually add it to whatever firewall you are using to allow it through.
