Is seviper’s crosscut attack broken?

seviper crosscut attack did 100 damage to my lunatone and mime jnr one after the other. Is it correct for crosscut to do 100 damage to basic pokemon? I thought it was 50 for basic, 100 for evolution pokemon.

Seviper counts as a dark type since poison type is now categorised as dark type.
Both, Lunatone and Mime Jr. are weak to dark, so the move does double damage.
Keep an eye out for weakness and resistance as they may change the result of attacks.
