Should Miraidon [Temporal Forces 121] count as an electric pokemon?
I haven't played the game in a few years and a bit has changed since I used to play, such as the first turn player not being able to use supporters on turn 1, so I thought maybe it was some other weird rule change I didn't know about. It's definitely a dragon type according to the card, but it keeps hitting my Lugia V for double damage as if that matchup wasn't already hard enough with their Iron hands easily one hitting all of my mons and still getting 2 prizes off of my Cinccinos lol

No, Miraidon TF121 is Dragon type and doesn't hit Lugia V for double damage, however, this card is often played along side Iron Crown ex (
) and with Future Booster Energy Capsule ( ) which both increase its attack amount. For example, if they had Miraidon in the active with 1 energy attached and then had an Iron Crown ex on the bench and a future booster attached to the Miraidon, instead of hitting for 40 with Peak Acceleration, it would hit for 80 at the Iron Crown ex would give it an extra 20 and the future booster would give it another additional 20. If the bench had 2 Iron Crown's then it would be 100, 40 from the iron crowns and 20 from the future booster, and so on.
This is probably what you are seeing.
