Paldea because of the damage caused by Terapagos.

Probably Paldea, not as complete as the others. The other regions from the other games feel more fleshed out and actually feel like provinces/countries compared to Paldea.

I just realised I forgot Paldea existed. It's really empty and the towns feel like they exist only for the gyms with the exception of 2/3 towns that had almost nothing in them.

On the opposite side however, we have Kalos which is perfection.

yeah I’m changing mine to paldea Pokémon wouldn’t exist without kanto and that would be bad and @UnovanZorua has a point the towns were all kind of empty and there was absolutely no battle facility to top it off and can’t reface gym leaders unless you have dlc recently been playing through x and i feel there was so much more to do than in paldea and im actually kind of hoping that they go back to 3d linear it just works so much better for the franchise overall at least for their main games i feel like with the legends titles they should keep it open world plus paldea didn’t have game freak in it which shocks me and is usually a staple i felt the evil team was kind of lame because they weren’t evil the champion was lame and the Pokédex of that region I felt was kind of weak having 18 of the base dex being rather paradox or convergents and overall felt rushed

More explanation as to why Kalos is good and Paldea is bad:

The towns in Kalos all have something without it feeling forced, and even the routes have things like the Battle Chateau and that one place underground near Dendemille where you can learn the final skating move. Meanwhile in Paldea, it has… Zapapico! Where the only thing of interest is someone trading you an evolution item for Charcadet. And Cabo Poco if that counts, where… uh… you visit it in the start of the game, I guess. Porto Marinada is kinda decent maybe, it has auctions? And then there's Mesagoza where there's a salon and the school. That's it.

Adding onto why Kalos has great cities, they still work without the gym leaders and look beautiful and distinct from each other, with music fitting how they're supposed to feel, and there's more than the location or small details to makes the cities and towns different. When I think of Laverre, I think of the giant tree, the amazing music, the autumn leaves, the Pokéball factory, the magical feeling it exudes, the gym being a doll house, and the clothes sold there. The music also conveys what the place is supposed to feel like perfectly.

Meanwhile, Paldea. Let's pick a really good city, so Cascarrafa (I definitely mispelled that). It's an elegant city, with blue and white, it's seperated into three parts you can traverse by elevators since the city was built on a cliff, and it has a fountain. And, the gym leader is Kofu. This is one of the few cities in Paldea that aren't that bad if you remove the gym, it's cool, but that's all I could think of. The places you can enter are in all three of the big cities and it doesn't have anyplace unique to it, which is not good since all shops in SV are just menus and no home can be entered, making it feel empty. The music isn't bad, but it's just kind of weird in my opinion. It makes it feel more like a shopping mall than a city.

ANOTHER THING is that Paldea has nearly nothing outside the cities even though the region is mostly non-city areas (idk what to call them since they're not routes), meaning that the majority of the time the players will not have much to do when exploring the region. Meanwhile Kalos had a good balance of routes and cities, with both having interesting places to explore and beautiful scenery (like the autumn route near Laverre), meaning you won't get bored while you travel through the region.

I'll stop now as writing this tired me.

@UnovanZorua I totally agree with you! Shield was the first pokemon game I played, and I remember how much there always was to do in the towns. For Christmas I got a guide book which literally told me EVERYTHING to do in each of the different cities, and there were always so many different activities to do there! I was severely disappointed at the towns in paldea, which felt like several rows of houses, maybe a food store if you were lucky, and then the gym, if that town even had one.

Definitely Paldea. Would make a canon story through out all the pokemon dimensions if the paldea regions suffers a tragic end.
