Shining Charizard No date at bottom

Hello there. We are new to this forum. I am trying to do some back ground research on our son’s card. He traded to get this Shining Charizard from one of his friends. I am finding a few differences with his card compared to what i am finding on EBay and simple google searches. For example, there is no date at the bottom of the card, the right side of the card has a boarder shadow. Just not sure if this is a legit card or not. Any help would be great. The card feels normal, not see through with a light. I see some cards on-line that the figure is very dark almost black. His card is vibrant and clear to see. I appreciate you guys. Have a great day.
