Shining Charizard No date at bottom

Hello there. We are new to this forum. I am trying to do some back ground research on our son’s card. He traded to get this Shining Charizard from one of his friends. I am finding a few differences with his card compared to what i am finding on EBay and simple google searches. For example, there is no date at the bottom of the card, the right side of the card has a boarder shadow. Just not sure if this is a legit card or not. Any help would be great. The card feels normal, not see through with a light. I see some cards on-line that the figure is very dark almost black. His card is vibrant and clear to see. I appreciate you guys. probably fake but the eBay might also be the fake one to compare you can go to the trading card database on Pokémon official website

If you can't find the year on the bottom, then it possibly is fake, but I'm not 100% sure about that though, so do check the trading card database.
