huh? @OlderAngel11 @TechHog and other TCG Players, i play a game and i retreat my Sableye. But then i place another Pokemon in active spot. My new active can’t attack yet. I do Pokemon checkup. The coin tails. But the pokemon in the active spot of my opponent can give my new active a burn marker. How does that work? Should i get two burn markers or heal Sableye from Burn marker?

If the currently Pokémon was burned and failed check up, it should remain burnt. Once retreated/moved back to bench, the burn should heal. Then, the new active Pokémon can be burnt as long as the conditions are met (attack/ability used by opponents active Pokémon.)

A full transcript of the match would help, as it sounds like you are saying your Sableeye was burnt and retreated, but stayed burnt while on bench?
