    It's to post blocks of code and highlight them as such while preventing your browser or the forum software from parsing them, not execute code or implement style sheets in your posts.

    Could you imagine the pandemonium that could ensue if people could inject any old code into their posts? Every post would look like a MySpace profile or Geocities web page (is that reference too old for the denizens of this forum) and all kinds of scams and viruses would crop up.

    Maybe use a colour html code instead of name (those weird letters and numbers used to describe a specific colour)

    Idk but I remember you're supposed to put the text in <print:> in quotations (<print: "Hello">) and none of my correct comments have been approved.

    Also I think maybe it's because I used hex/html codes of colours instead of just a colour.
