Why mist energy not working with charizard ex attack?

I was play tinkaton ex with a ine mist energy and one psychic energy gainst with charizard ex, but the chrizard's attack Burning darkness add 30 more damage each prize card.

    Sorry to say but "effects of attacks" are only things that affect the defending pokemon in different ways, such as poisoning them or placing damage counters and doesn't interact with Charizard's damage increase

    That's just how the attack's damage is calculated. Basically, not all text under an attack is an effect. Any text referring to how damage from an attack is calculated isn't considered an effect and thus isn't blocked. This is intentional and not a bug.
