Timer begins countdown WAY to quickly

After the update today, the timer begins to countdown very quickly. I barely have a moment to think before the timer expires. I even lost a turn because of how long the Marnie animation takes.

I also have this issue. My timer starts once the opponent has ended their turn, by the time my card has been drawn and i can interact with the cards its down to 7 seconds. No matter what the action the timer starts instantly. It didn't do this when I first installed the game but has been happening the past week or so.
