todays thought is on alomomola my thought about alomomola is that i use to think it and luvdisc where the same pokemon i dont have ill feeling toward it in general it is a pokemon i would likely forget about if i was asked to name all the pokemon from my head

personally i think luvdisc had to evolve. It’s just.. nothing like magikarp. The difference is that Magikarp evolve into Gyarados. Luvdisc had to evolve, Alomomola or not.

Its name hurts to spell, read, and say, but it's cool.
The Pokémon itself simply exists in my opinion. It's not horrible. It's not good. It's kinda bland (but better than Luvdisc). It was intended to be a Unovan version of an old Pokémon (like Bouffalant to Taurus or Audino to Chansey) since Unova had only Unovan Pokémon in BW1, and it did its job.

I used to think that luvdisk evolved into Alomomola.

I always forget Alomomola exists, but I've never forgotten Luvdisc
I remember the episode from the anime where Ash's either Grovile or Sceptile (can't remember if it evolved yet) was fighting one and it used Attract
Ash's Pokémon became infatuated and started doing weird stuff
After that I became obsessed with Attract and Cute Charm for a while, making full teams that know that move out had that ability
After getting an obsession from Luvdisc it becomes hard to forget
