Pokémon Forums Edition: Episode 9 (Part One)
(Sorry, I wanted to make this just one part but it's way too long. Part Two will probably be posted in the comments or as its own discussion once this gets approved. Also sorry since this part is more focused on them getting to the gym instead of the battle.)
Blake, Esbern, and Sophie found themselves near Aspertia City after they ran away from Team Plasma. "At least there's a gym here too.." Blake sighed, trying to not show how ashamed he was for running away. "I think the Gym Leader here is Cheren, who uses Normal types. I heard he's one of the stronger Gym Leaders and that he even trained with Alder, the previous Champion of Unova. Do you really think you can beat him, after a whole two days of having a Pokémon?" Esbern told Blake. Blake, in his usual confidence replied "Wait, he uses Normal types? That's great, I just got a Riolu today!" "You didn't even know that?! I thought you wanted to become Champion! Shouldn't you know what types each Gym Leader uses if you want to get enough badges to do that?!" Esbern shouted at him, genuinely shocked Blake knew so little.
Sophie stood for a few seconds to think, when she remembered something and excitedly exclaimed; "Oh yeah, the Gym Leader here is friends with someone who was chosen by Reshiram! Maybe he knows how they got chosen by it! And then I'll be a Legendary Hero too!" Before she quickly ran to the city's Pokémon Center to rest her Pokémon first.
Blake and Esbern followed her, both somewhat surprised by how much energy she still has after running across two cities and multiple routes without stop. After they all arrived, they decided it was best to stay at the Pokémon Center for the night as it was getting quite late. The next morning, Blake asks the nurse where the gym is. "It's in the Pokémon Trainer's school, that's the big building left of the Pokémon Center! The Gym Leader is the principal there." The trio leaves towards the gym, all three excited for the gym battle, though Esbern was a little nervous.

@UnovanZorua Bravo! Great Job! It was kind of hard to tell who was saying what though

Sorry. I felt like I used ""___," character said" a bit too much last time so I was trying to find a different way to write dialogue without using the "character: ___" thing.

@UnovanZorua No Problem! Experimentation is fine, I do like how this is going so far and I have a few new ideas. Also if you'd like you could establish a brand new character!

(Part 2)
Blake opens the door, and looks around to see where the Gym Leader is. He sees someone teaching the students about the possible ways and many goals that Pokémon trainers can have, and the many ways you can coexist with Pokémon even without being a trainer. "Aww.. looks like we'll have to wait longer until we can challenge him. What time does the Trainer school end anyways?" Sophie sighs, disappointed.
Blake looks confused at Sophie’s reaction, "We need to wait? But he's right there! We can just challenge him now!", and before anyone has the chance to point out why that's rude and not a good idea, he runs as fast he can, barely stopping himself from bumping into the whiteboard, and challenges Cheren to a battle; "I'm Blake from Floccesy Town, the next Champion of Unova! And I challenge you to a gym battle!" he shouts as loud as he can. Cheren looks somewhat surprised at Blake's rashness, but he quickly makes a decision. "All right. But first, you need to battle some of the students here. Peter! Laurena! You two fight this challenger."
"Um, hey, can I challenge you too?" Sophie asks. Cheren responds: "You could fight in a Multi Battle with your friend here. That'd make things much faster." He looks over to Blake "Blake was your name, right? Would you be ok with fighting in a Multi Battle with your friend?" Blake responds loudly, so excited he can barely stop himself from shouting loud enough to deafen everyone in the room "Why not a Triple Multi battle? There are three of us after all."
Esbern, still near the door, shivers for a moment before retaining his composure. "I'm going to fight too. Gym badges do help you find and catch stronger Pokémon after all. I'm sure I can handle this!" He says nervously. Cheren looks over to Esbern and agrees to Blake's request. He'd rather not use too much time as his schedule is quite full. "Aiden! You should also fight the challengers this time."
(I am taking so long just to get to the gym battle. Next time we should probably just have seperate episodes for getting to the gym battle and the actual fight, because just jumping into the fight feels unnatural.)

@UnovanZorua Best episode yet! Happy Easter everyone! I think that fusing the battles is a neat idea but sometimes we may need to do them separately, also asking this now should we have a pokemon league similar to that of the anime or we could make it like the games and have E4 + Champion, or we could fuse them both? I would love to have a pokemon league like the anime so that we could introduce new rivals and other such

I think a fusion of the both is good, where a tournament is held, but winning it doesn't make you Champion. Instead, winning the tournament means you get a chance to fight the E4 and current Champion to see if you can become the official Champion . (Also I'm tired so part 3 is coming tommorow instead of today).

@UnovanZorua I've always wanted them to do this so this seems fun! (That's fine you've done an amazing job, you're probably one of the best writers here!

(Part 3)
The trio decided to participate in a triple multi battle to fight the Normal type Gym Leader, Cheren. But first, they must defeat the three student Gym trainers Cheren told them to defeat. Cheren tells them that since this is a triple multi battle, each trainer can only bring two Pokémon. They all leave towards the yard outside the school, and the students send out their Pokémon: Lillipup, Patrat, and another Lillipup. "This is going to be easy!" Blake claims, before sending out Riolu, which sparkles after it's sent out. Esbern looks shocked, "When did you get a shiny Pokémon?!" Blake replies, "a what?"
Esbern reminds himself this isn't the time and sends out Golett. Sophie looks excited and sends out her own Lillipup. Blake tells Riolu to use Quick Attack on Lillipup, and Sophie, wanting to have a Lillipup vs. Lillipup match, tells Lillipup to use Bite on the other one. Esbern orders Golett to use Pound on Patrat.
Patrat faints and its trainer sends out a Lillipup, but the Lillipup from before both use Bite on Golett, dealing supereffective damage and defeating it! Esbern sends out Mareep and uses Thunder Wave, making the Lillipup that just came out paralysed. Sophie uses Bite on the same Lillipup she attacked last turn, and Blake also attacks the same Lillipup he attacked before with Quick Attack again, making both the trainers recall their fainted Pokémon and send out Patrat.
Mareep uses Thunder Shock on the paralysed Lillipup from earlier and defeats it, and Sophie switches out Lillipup for Elgyem, and Riolu continues using Quick Attack and defeats a Patrat. Elgyem uses Confusion on the last remaining Patrat, defeating it in one hit, and the Trio wins!
(This is taking way too long. We seriously need an Episode on its own, maybe two multiple setting up the gym battle and the gym quiz before the actual gym battle next time.)

@UnovanZorua I think I did mention somewhere that episode 8 should've been this though I could very much be wrong, I'm playing through Black 2 and I caught a Patrat named Esbern though, I know it doesn't matter but I just thought it was cool
