@MajorBrendan Exactly he's not a Pokemon master, his ending is supposed to be the fun filler episodes of the original series where he instead of battling and catching pokemon he learns about them, what a REAL Pokemon master should be, you would know this if you actually watched the anime, his ending isn't supposed to be glorious it's supposed to be his adventures and meetings of all kinds of Pokemon and that's what fans don't understand

since his ending is open ended. There's a possibility that he'll return. Even the voice actress sarah is vouching for his return.

Saw the ending in the Japanese version of it. It's let open ended.

@MajorBrendan Yes but even if he returns it will likely only be seen as a special return or a cameo, he won't ever go back to being the main character
