Why are we okay with this?

@TheNintenerd If there was I would have hit it. Trust me.

@Jirarudan that’s only some comments most of mine go through immediately

@Jirarudan no I don't realize that because that's really bad design. There's no notification for it. That would be like if I made a comment on reddit or Twitter that mysteriously vanished as soon as I posted it despite my past comments were immediately posted upon submission. I don't think I've ever seen a forum site do this without notifying you. Too fitting that this is coming from Pokémon. They're probably censoring criticism

@TheNintenerd There is a notification on the mobile version, though it only pops up at the bottom of the screen for a couple of seconds and is easy to miss. I haven't used the desktop version in a while, so I cannot speak to it.
I think many people here can vouch for the fact that I am very critical of Pokémon and the games on this forum, yet the majority of my posts are still approved... eventually.
Bizarrely it seems to be largely innocuous posts that are held and go unapproved, which I assume is an oversight.

@TheJeffers the subreddit definitely censors criticism unless it's softball criticism. They don't like people deconstructing consumerism culture and its impacts on the series because that's "wrongthink"

@TheNintenerd I've never used Reddit. But I am yet to hear anything positive about it, even from those who frequent it.

@TheJeffers I could call you negative or I could have normal and civil conversations
As funny as it would be to do the first I choose the secound (now at least)

@Hey_PIKMIN Why not both? You can be negative and civil. They are not mutually exclusive.
And I view criticism as a positive thing. It is the path to improvement.

I've criticised the franchise, games, and anime, but I don't think any of the critical posts I make don't get approved. I've also seen a lot of criticism and negativity here, so I doubt they censor that.
