Bug concerning Serperior VSTAR and Cape of v

Whenever I have a Cape of Toughness attached to a Serperior VSTAR, the effect, +50 max HP, isn't applied. It doesn't matter if it is attached before or after evolution, it doesn't apply.

    The text on the card references basic pokemon. Once you've evolved to a VSTAR, the pokemon is no longer a basic pokemon and the card has no effect.
