You can test the decks against AI, but it's not good AI

It would be nice if the AI would play updated decks instead of decks from the last format. Even if they play them poorly.

Maybe you can select a deck from your own decks.

It'd be nice if you could play a game against yourself. That way you can test decks without having to worry about bad AI

You know what would really help with that? If we get Theme decks back. Sure, the layout is extremely simplistic, but it's beginner-friendly and definitely more casual.

Also, I may have spent a truckload on them…

Better AI plz. In addition, please add a "hot-seat" mode similar to how @sdrawkcab190 mentioned. However what the hot-seat feature adds to the game instead of just a testing mode where you can play against yourself, it adds the ability to share a device with your child, friend, co-worker, etc. to enjoy the TCG without having to create a different account. Also, this allows the end user to test decks using optimal strategic decisions. Please add this!!

I’m starting to highly suspect bots are in the ranked matches. They have weird names that don’t really look like they were made by a human. I played against players who had similar looking names 3 times in a row. It was just: [generic name]+[two numbers]. They used standard cards (no alt arts or reverse holos), took their turns extremely quickly and made some very questionable moves that I don’t think human players would make. Plus every AI-suspected Charizard deck I play against uses the same card sleeves and coin. Which wouldn’t make sense for a human player to do, why advertise what deck you’re running? It’s obviously just speculation at this point, but play a lot of matches and you’ll start to see patterns.
