Good APK counters? (Expanded)
I've been looking for a decent way to counteract the board buff that Arceus/Palkia/Dialga tag team gx creates, and normally the dedicated counter for that would be Pokemon Ranger, but......that card isn't usable in the game yet. Are there any other viable alternatives that don't rely on discarding the opponent's energies/tools the entire time?

Usually the best idea is just to have Pokemon that can knock ADP out before it can use Ultimate Ray to set up a benched attacker - how you're going to achieve that is going to be based on your deck, but I think most meta decks can manage.
If you're running a slower deck, ADP notoriously can't do anything about Altaria from Champion's Path which blocks damage from Pokemon V and Pokemon GX. Eiscue from Evolving Skies also walls it with its Blockface attack, but you need Water energy to use it.
