What’s the difference between Random and CPU match?

All I know is that cpu takes longer, but does it have anything to do with the cpu or bots?

Cpu has bot teams, random has braindead players

cpu has computers who play. random is just bots playing and then one person cleaning up everyone else

This is because of how Bot matches work. It still uses Classic matchmaking, which always makes the wait limit if you are doing trainer battles 30 seconds+.

CPU is bots. Random match is real people.

If cpu is bot teams, why does it take longer to “find” people?
because CPU is actually PVE and tries to find a team of players to play against the bots until it gives up

I think the reason it’s long is because they want it to feel like a normal battle
