Slaking V allowed attacks for my opponent when he had 6 and 4 Prizes left

I'm not sure if I'm misreading this card, but it reads to me like this should not have been allowed. My opponent powered this card up and I thought he was bluffing, being that it read to me like he should not be allowed to attack with it until he took one of his prize cards.

I think a path to the peak might've been in play. It would've turned off the ability, so Slaking would've been able to attack.

Adding to OlderAngel, a Spiritomb might also have been in play, which shuts down basic V pokemon's abilities, which should have let Slaking attack

Good point, @kot123456 that could also be what happened.

The screenshot I have allowed me to verify that Spiritomb was not in play, but as I had the card zoomed in on, it was covering the area of the arena where stadiums can be seen. I can't rule that Path to the Peak was in play.
