If you were a water type gym leader what would your gym be like and what would your pokemon be.

My team would consist of huntail, lanturn, wishiwashi, crawdaunt, relicanth, and dewgong. The gym would be a marine biology institute and an aquarium. the challenged would be to help find an elusive pokemon hiding in the water. this would incorporate the dive feature and along the way other gym challengers searching for it will fight you.

This is the third discussion in this series. So far, we've done normal, fire, and now water. If you want to, make sure you say what you would have for your gym in the others.

Having a double battle where Kingdra and Lapras are side by side would be cool.

The gym would be a beachside resort-style place, and I would make the challenge a sand dollar hunt, where you have to flip over large sand dollars, only one of which is a secret tunnel leading to the gym battle. If you flip over the wrong sand dollar you have to fight the pokemon that's hiding in the hole underneath the dollar. There could also be a neat new pokemon which has a sand dollar on its back. My team would be: Whiscash, Cramorant, Bibarel, (Yes, it is a water type) Ludicolo, Sharpedo, and Wailord as my ace.

    I wouldn't mind doing this!

I'm going to pretend that I'm the fifth gym leader in an order of the usual eight, so I'm going to have about four Pokemon. The gym would most likely make use of waterfalls. These waterfalls could consist of gym trainers, or levers in order to propel the trainer up to the next section of the gym using geysers! They would be able to tell by how many pearls that are being covered by the waterfall that said waterfall consists of the lever.

Once they manage to get to me, I'll challenge them to a Pokemon battle. My team would consist of Gastrodon, Tatsugiri, Mantine, & Clawitzer, in that order. If they manage to defeat me, I'll give them the Basin Badge, and TM077 (at the time) Waterfall!

If the trainer decides to battle me again, I'll get a team of six, with a Drednaw, a Gastrodon, a Pyukumuku, a Tatsugiri, a Huntail, & a Clawitzer, in that order.

My team would be: Sealio, Ludicolo, Tatsugiri, Vaporeon, and Slowbro.

I'd own a Marine Biology Lab, which would be the gym, and you'd have to swim through the course to pass and get to battle me. And when you're in the lobby, you'd be able to get sweet rewards for doing minigames like cleaning plastic or placing band-aids on injured Pokemon

I would play double battle with a rain team. My first Pokémon would be Pelliper with drizzle and support moves. My next Pokémon would be a seaking with swift swim ability. After that, I would have a Castform with thunder. By then the rain might have worn off so I would have a politoed with drizzle. Next I would use a swift swim armaldo with X-scissor and earth power to cover my weaknesses. Then, my ace Pokémon archaludon with water Tera and would be holding a choice specs and will spam electro shot. If they somehow win I would give them the hydro cannon TM, water pledge TM and a rain dance TM along with a damp rock.

Johto Quagsire, Slowking, Kingler, Blastoise, Kingdra (ACE)

Sinnoh Floatzel,Gastrodon, Quagsire Phione, Mega Gyarados (ACE)

Unova (Pre Marlin) Simipour, Swanna, Carracosta, Seismatoad, Samurott (ACE)

Kalos Clauncher, Kingdra, Lapras, Quagsire, Mega Blastoise (ACE)

Blastoise works because it is in the pokedex but cannot be achieved until after beating red and phione works because it can be bred and isn't mythical Samurott doesn't completely work but I wasn't able to get a good enough replacement for it Mega Blastoise is cooler than mega gyarados and we need kalos gym leaders with megas

you would rent a swimusit and essentially play a mario water level after beating the league you would be permanently given the swimsuit which allows you to not use pokemon for surfing
