How to evolve Milcery in SV DLC?

In SwSh, you had to have Milcery hold a sweet while you spun for a varying amount of time. How do I spin in SV? I got Leon's pose and yet that doesn't work??

    you do the same thing from the last game rotate the control stick

    Spin the left stick for a few seconds, Milcery must be holding one of the sweets that let it evolve. The evolution depends on the time of day, spin duration and direction, and the sweet it was holding.
