Combine Marnie like effects

Have the shuffle and draw of Marnie like cards happen at the same time instead of one player at a time to speed up games.

Once again, that is not representative of the game rules as written. That's just a shortcut done during IRL play. Live is supposed to represent the game rules as written.

Gotcha. Fair enough. Maybe speed up the shuffle/draw animations then?

    They already sped them up.

The card itself says "each player".

I agree with both doing it at the same time to speed things up. It doesn't say you shuffle, then the opposite player shuffle.

Also the animation to shuffle the cards before they are placed back into the deck is unnecessary. that just adds animation for no reason.

Technically two actions cannot happen at the same time in Pokemon TCG, so generally the rules are that the turn player takes the action first when both players need to take an action. That would make Marnie:

    • Turn Player shuffles their hand
    • Opponent shuffles their hand
    • (IRL) Turn Player chooses to cut Opponent's shuffled hand
    • (IRL) Opponent chooses to cut Turn Player's shuffled hand
    • Turn Player places their shuffled hand on the bottom of their deck
    • Opponent places their shuffled hand on the bottom of their deck
    • Turn Player draws 5 cards
    • Opponent draws 4 cards

It really only matters for complicated ruling stuff, but is how the game is intended to be played, which is important to represent properly in an official product that is meant to introduce players to the paper game.
