Is the DLC worth it?

I'm thinking about buying the DLC for my copy of Violet. Is it worth the money?

    Depends on who you ask. I would say the Teal Mask probably isn't worth the dollars unless you really like some of the new Pokemon. I can't really finalize my opinion until Indigo Disk is released, though.

    I haven't played it myself, because I was waiting for the opinions of friends who bought it and played it day 1.

    They were a little underwhelmed.

    You still have access to the returning Pokémon via transfer and you can still play it if you wait until the second batch of DLC. And if that turns out to be disappointing too, you won't have already committed to that.

    I think the story and characters were nice. And judging by what we know about DLC2 it looks like it'd be great with the casual features (more focused on characters and minigames) and competitive (some of the characters in DLC1 had full competitive teams with items. Since we're gonna have a battle frontier looking DLC it might be even more challenging)
