I was there since the beginning and im gonna be there till the end. I was able to play unite when it came out and got the Zeraora gift for free. Now, its coming to and end. Just wanted to say this game meant a lot. It was a game to play through my highs and lows. Ive always dreamed of playing every kind of worlds event in a tournament but now that dream is just a memory. But I get it. Its been getting pretty stale. I just wanted to say how I feel about it all. It was decently fun playing you Unite.
(Btw I paid to get Meowscarada so im lowkey fuming that I spent money on that)

@Dragonfly102024 will have choice words to say but I'm not sure if she'd want to reopen fresh wounds that EoS has inflicted. Granted she's taking things one day at a time but it bothers her to no end.
Coincidentally, I was thinking of starting up but this was weeks ago before there was even an inkling of it shutting down. Then a leak occurs that spreads like wildfire and most people didn't want to take the leak at face value because they were in denial. I mean the game hasn't been doing well but they didn't think they'd shut it down everywhere. Well they did and that pretty much nixes anyone thinking of starting up(what's the point) and the player base has largely left for new pastures. Honestly surprised Unite isn't a ghost town by now.
Question is what will Unite players go to. I got a feeling that TPC will be announcing Unite's "replacement" sometime next year but that's just a hunch on my part(nothing substantiated).

I already finished mourning half a year ago when all the Pokemon I played got nerfed into B tier, and one moveset releases put the nail in the coffin that license journeys created. EOS was inevitable, I just didn't think it would come so soon. I have no clue how they messed up a Pokemon MOBA, but we are where we are, and maybe next time they'll be a little smarter with their decision making, and put in some effort with regards to listening to the playerbase.

Me and my cousin used to play
Some of the best memories I have with her
I often find myself on and off the game
Like, I'll be utterly obsessed with it then just drop it
However I never really enjoyed the game when my cousin stopped playing
And then, about a year ago I met D, who absolutely loved the game
I decided to play with her and she brought back that joy
For me, it was never the game itself that was great
I was playing with amazing people that made these memories good
And the game definitely wasn't bad
I don't care what the hate says it was a good game
So yeah I'm gonna miss it
But I won't be too sad
Because I still have the memories of the fun I had with incredible people

I'm already walking away with no reaction... I mean that's pretty much what they did to us… just business as usual for them, so from me they get what they deserve... they get nothing. You reap what you sow.

😎 I'm still playing daily and ranking back up since the season reset. Gotta keep the streak alive for as long as they have ranked.
In fact, if you all are looking to play with reals (real trainers), ranked matches are STILL going strong with reals in every match for Ultras, Masters and I'm guessing Veterans from what I hear from my friends (unless they throw you a pity match) and the pre-match "looking for trainers" clock is the same for me as it has always been. The most likely time to find real trainers to play against in casuals and quicks is around daily reset, like it has been the norm for the past year.
The main difference I've noticed is that now I've been playing with and against more Japanese names, but that could be due to expanded prematch searching.
BTW, NOW is the perfect time to download and experience Unite if you have never done so before.
Why?
Next week we start the final big hoo-rah event where you can earn lots of licenses, holowear, etc. FOR FREE so you should be able to quickly accumulate licenses and stuff that you'll get to play with for another 4 and a half months.
Remember to log in daily once that event starts, if you don't do so already, so that you can also open their free log in bonuses (Unite Coins).
It's "not quite dead yet." 🤨. Those who play regularly know this.
Unfortunately, yeah the end is coming, we have a date, so I say PLAY ON TILL THE END!
Anyone who's put money into this game should want to get their money's worth and ACTUALLY PLAY before it's too late.
It's like if you rent a car… are we going to complain that we paid for it but have to turn it back in? That our time is limited? Sure, you may fall in love with that car or might be disgruntled about some of it's features, but while you've got it, USE IT. Go for a drive, ENJOY THE JOURNEY… or in our case, the matches and friends we've made along the way.
Also, don't forgot the in-game tournament is still happening the weekend of November 22, 2026.

Yes absolutely... I'm still playing too not as much tho, but I've moved on when it comes to caring about the game or trying to "save" it... I no longer care about what they do. Now I'm just playing whenever I feel like it, simply because I enjoy the game.
