By this point we should all know the end is coming outside of Japan, but again... not just yet.

The game is still profitable and will be for another year or two... also there are rumors they are working on a successor... maybe a Pokemon Unite 2... not all bad news lets hope.

A sequel game doesn't make much sense to me. I mean what would be different or require making the game from the ground up in a sequel? It's not like other MOBA's where the objective is to destroy the enemy Base/Castle or w/e but to score points by lobbing Energy into Goal Zones. KOing the OPP Team generates points as well(I think) along with objectives(again I think) but not in the quantity that scoring goals does.

Again the writing was on the wall when Unite wouldn't be returning to Worlds. 2027 is probably going to be last year for a good chunk of the world, if not everywhere. So enjoy it while it lasts.
