Do you think the type chart should be adjusted?
The Pokemon type chart generally tends to go off IRL interactions, for example, Fire being weak to Water.
However, there are a few type matchups that I think should be adjusted.
- Steel should be weak to Electric since many metals conduct electricity. Electric also isn't a great offensive type, so this could help it a little bit.
- Normal should be weak to Psychic and Fairy since many stories and tales highlight the power of the supernatural over the rational.
- Poison should hit Flying for supereffective damage given air pollution issues.
That's it for me, anything you guys think should (or shouldn't) change?

Poison feels it would be from more specific Pokémon, especially because those are toxic fumes and not technically poisons. Normal shouldn't get more weaknesses, without being strong against anything. Steel weak to electric almost makes sense, BUT it doesn't hurt the metal, it hurts who touches the metal, so you're making the metal stronger, while water types were originally fish, who would get electrocuted.

Psychic should have advantage over Dragon, considering Psychic is logic and Dragons don't exist irl
Dragon should have advantage over another type, I'm just not sure which
Hmm...
I'm not sure for anything else
I've always felt Ghost should be strong against Fairy
Not sure why but it makes sense to me
Anyways, I like your thoughts!

Psychic isn't logic, it's the mind and telepathic powers. No logic. The point of no more Dragon advantages is to not make it too strong. No Ghost strong against Fairy, because fairies are light which would repel the ghosts.

Where do you get life from? A fairy would fight a ghost and generally be stronger, because hello? What are fairies usually in? A children's book, where the fairies are good, working with the hero to defeat the villain, which, can be, guess what? A ghost! And a fairy would usually have more of an advantage over a ghost rather than a fire demon.

Do not give Normal extra weaknesses.
