You had asked if you can take off spam or abuse flags. Just select a different emoji like a like, agree or laugh. It works too if you would rather agree or like and had accidentally put a laugh.

Yes, I agree that the forums should not have spam or abuse flags as an emoji option without the flagger filling out a form/reason why the flag was given. Then all flags should be reviewed and either taken off the post/comment if the flag was unjustified, inaccurate, or unreasonable, OR the writer of the post notified as to what they did wrong and the post edited or removed as is reasonable.

The Pokemon Company doesn't own the forum platform itself, they just license it as a SaaS from Vanilla, which comes with inherent limitations.

Even tho the platform is highly customizable, I'm not sure how much customization they are contractually allowed to do or if they even have the competence/budget for it... given that they haven't changed much in years it's unlikely we'll ever see significant updates.

They will basically just stick to the default features, toggling things on or off, but I doubt they will ever do any actual custom development... also they seem to be avoiding overloading/slowdown pages with large amounts of profile pics or customized buttons/reactions and so on... one can always ask and hope tho.

I’m kinda glad we aren’t being watched by one of the largest media franchises ever, but on the other hand the lack of new updates and bug fixes gets very annoying. I don’t even know if there even is a development team at this point.
