Torkoal concentrated fire

I just played someone and the card reads flip a coin for each fire attached to this Pokémon. This attack does 80 damage for each head. When the opponent had 3 fire it did 6 flips. He had 7 fire it did 14 flips. Is this correct or a bug?

Was pokemon go charizard in play? It's ability doubles the value of fire energy. This would cause the coin flips to double as well.

Yes, it's not a bug... that deck uses Charizard (from Pokemon GO set) with the Burn Brightly ability that reads "each basic fire Energy attached to your Pokémon provides 2x fire Energy. You can't apply more than 1 Burn Brightly Ability at a time.", so if they had that Pokémon in the bench as they should thats why you saw the duplicated coin flip.

That explains a lot. I couldn't figure it out either and thought it was a bug (I accidentally sent an email claiming it was a bug....oops)

I'm getting so tired of that charizard deck....
