I cant find and VGC events in my area

I want to get into vgc seriously but in my area they don't do events? what should i do besides go to a regional because its way out of my price range

    Beyond petitioning TPCi to host events in your area, I don't see what you can really do. Either you move closer to the events or the events move closer to you.

    Maybe it will be possible to compete online in the future?
