Agreed. While growing up (and even today) I loved/love Transformers, G.I.Joe, He-Man, Smurfs, the A-Team, TMNT, Inspector Gadget, and others… Pokemon didn't exist back then. (and you all already know I'm a she 😎)
(Of course I also liked Rainbow Bright & CareBears)
Saturday morning cartoons were practically a tradition back in the days. No internet, no streaming, no YouTube, no smartTVs. Those didn't exist. In fact, we didn't even have a clicker/remote until later. Get up and turn the dial. Stomp on the floor when the signal went bad (yes, it worked lol). Yup, times have changed.

AWESOME! One of the first movies I saw in a movie theater was the Care Bear movie.... I remember being scared but that's about it.
I might still have the baby boy original Care Bear around here somewhere.... Also the sleepy one (I can't remember their names). I had friends who had the whole collection of stuffed animals (aka plushies).
