I haven't played in a long time. I was allowed to use an attack I didn't have energy for?

I can't tell if this is a rules thing or a bug in the client - I was using Arcanine ex, and I had one Fire Energy attached; despite only having one Fire Energy, I was allowed to use Raging Claws, which costs 2. Is there something causing that that I'm missing on the card? Is there a rules change I wasn't aware of? Is this a client bug?

Did you have Charizard from Pokémon Go in play? If so, why aren't you reading your own cards?

Hello, I recommend opening a ticket with the support team. You can do so by visiting https://support.pokemon.com/ then click the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live link. From there click "Contact Us" Thanks!

Oh, for some reason I thought that applied to just the Charizard itself. Poor reading on my part. Thanks!

This Just happened to me but I was on the other end and was extremely dumb founded when my opponent attacked with raging claws while only one energy attached to the card. My opponent did have Charizard Pokémon Go 010/078 on the bench but after reading the card and I quote: Ability: Each basic fire energy attached to your POKÉMON (not plural) provides double fire energy. You can not apply more than 1 Burn Brightly at a time. Help me understand how that means all Pokémon in play?? If it applied to all Pokémon than wouldn’t it say for all Pokémon in play? Make it make sense. If it’s a different card than please let me know because I must be illiterate. Thanks
