@PokeMom244 I'm not done

far from it actually

But I wanted to show you that I have worked on it and continue to

Snow and Obsidian have been studying law books in the Hisuian Zoroark's room ever since the wannabe president had discussed the half-baked plan with Vee's group. Snow has allowed them zero rest as they scour through text after text, taking notes of anything and everything that has even a chance at being useful. Obsidian looks up from the book he just finished, his tired eyes getting burned from the rising sun that shines through the window. He looks over at Snow and almost doesn't recognize her.

Her usual neat and well kept ponytail is an absolute mess, hair flowing out everywhere. Her suit is wrinkled and the tie is loosely done, a sign of her constant fidgeting with it. Her eyes are forced open as she closely examines the paragraph of her current read. Snow is barely holding herself together and it's quite obvious from just a glance.

"AGH!!!" The Hisuian Zoroark screams as she throws her book across the room before slouching into her seat with an exhausted sigh. "THIS IS POINTLESS!!! Dexter! I need you to-"

Both of the Pokemon go silent as she sadly looks around the room. The Rotom hasn't talked to them since sharing the video and his absence is definitely felt. No random "ZZTS" or endless facts that nobody asked for. Obsidian always thought he'd like it better if Dexter would stop bothering them but now that he's gone the Ceruledge can't stand the emptiness.

"How's your research going, Obsidian," Snow inquires, watching him with half open eyes. She doesn't even give the Fire Blades Pokemon a chance to respond before turning away with a groan. "I have studied LITERALLY all night and feel like I've gotten nowhere!"

The Baneful Fox slams her head into the table with a holler of despair. Obsidian watches with quiet concern as his companion breaks into tears, overwhelmed from recent events, stress, and lack of sleep. He wishes he would do something, truly he does. But the Ceruledge doesn't know what to do. Emotions isn't a strength of his. But as he watches his closest friend completely lose her cool he decides to do… something.

"I-It's all g-gonna be fine," Obsidian says, his voice hoarse and barely above a whisper. Snow's shock immediately stops her crying as she sits straight up and looks at her friend, an expression of utter confusion on her face.

"W-Was that…" she doesn't finish the question as she gawks at the Ceruledge. Obsidian nods, knowing what she's trying to ask.

"Yes, that was me," he confirms before wincing slightly from a pain in his throat. The Fire/Ghost type gently rubs a blade against his neck and clears his throat. "Not used to talking…"

"I'm not used to hearing you talk," Snow adds as she slowly inches closer.

"Yeah, me neither. Haven't heard my own voice in probably a week," Obsidian tells her with a weak chuckle, which the Hisuian Zoroark joins as she takes the seat beside him. The two sit in silence for a bit, Snow unsure what to say and the Ceruledge trying to form his thoughts into words. "You're… You're being too hard on yourself," he finally manages to say.

"No I'm not," Snow immediately snaps as she grasps a handful of her hair. "Honestly, I'm not being hard enough on myself! I manipulated Vee, Obsidian! I-I used her! Honestly, I'm no better than Thur!'

"You're much better than him," Obsidian states as he pats her on the back. "You did what you had to. I mean, yeah. The methods you used were a bit screwed up to say the least, but you were at least justified. You have good plans for the school that would have made things so much better! You just needed a way to get the people to listen to you, and they didn't want to hear what you had to say."

"Are you really trying to make what I did okay," the Normal/Ghost type asks as she looks at him with horror. "OBSIDIAN I USED HER!!!"

The Ceruledge is barely fazed from her screaming as he watches her with a dead pan expression. "Not at all," he tells her with a head shake. That's actually a lie because that's exactly what he was doing but that was clearly wrong. Just like with emotions, he is awful with morals. "I'm trying to say that your actions were bad but your intentions were good. The others have every right to be mad at you but maybe go a bit easier on yourself. Okay?"

Snow stares at the floor as she considers this. Her posture eases as she nods, seeming to relax as she agrees with Obsidian's words. "Alright," she mutters with a sigh. Obsidian silently praises himself, feeling proud that he's brought her relief with a speech he barely managed to throw together and doesn't agree with. In his opinion the Snow did nothing wrong.

"Great. Now let's finish thi-" before he can finish his statement he begins to break into a fit of coughs, the throat extremely sore after all that use. His best friend pats him on the back, watching his with concern.

"Shut up and go to bed," she demands, seeing that he needs the rest. When Obsidian shakes his head and reaches for a book she smacks his blade with a scowl. "I wasn't asking you to. Get some sleep. I can handle the rest."

The Ceruledge silently considers this, staring into Snow's determined eyes. After a bit of internal arguing he sighs with defeat, slowly getting up and heading to the door. Before he leaves, he turns and says one last sentence.

"Love ya."

Without even letting his friend respond he walks away, leaving Snow stunned on the floor.

(THAT WAS A COMPLETELY PLATONIC I LOVE YOU BY THE WAY!!!)

"Y'ALL READY TO PARTAAAY!?!?!?" DJ Sprigs shouts to the high school dancers, the crowd cheering excitedly in response. The Sprigatito then does some wicky-wicky-whaaa with the record before playing "Shut Up and Dance" by WALK THE MOON. The students begin to dance and chatter, but a certain six stand off to the side, watching the crowd as they scan the Pokemon for a Hisuian Zoroark.

"Why isn't she here," Vee grumbles, feeling shaky as her worry begins to rise. "She didn't do it, did she? She's leaving us hanging! Now we're left with nothing because we-"

"She'll be herezzz," Dexter cuts in with a confident look. "Zzznow izzz many thingzzz, but she izzz not unreliable."

"But it does seem like it'll be a while before she gets here so… anyone wanna dance," Aquaria wonders. Although this sounds like a question for everyone, she stares directly at Charz as she asks. The Charizard glances around, not realizing she's talking to him. After a moment he pieces things together.

"O-Oh! Y-Yeah, that would be great," he responds with a smile, which the Gecqua excitedly returns as she drags the Fire/Flying type to the dance floor.

"Well that just leaves us," Gwen says as she straightens her long red pooling hem dress with a sigh, watching the two dance to "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran.

"Actually, I hazzz to go," Dexter corrects as a Fan Rotom waves him over to the punch table. He then floats away, leaving only the three of them.

"THIS ISN'T FAIR!!!" the Alolan Ninetales whines sadly as she watches others hold each other with loving expressions as they sway back and forth to the music. "I'm the pretty one of the group yet I am the only one without a date!"

"I thought you weren't looking for a romantic partner," Vee recalls with a confused look.

"Well, I'm not," Gwen agrees before letting out a dramatic breath. "But that doesn't mean I don't want someone to take me by the paw and lead me away to dance, complimenting me all night as we whisper sweet nothings into each other's ear. You know, nothing permanent. Just for one night it would be nice."

"I can do that for you, beautiful," a Persian in sparkly pink suit says in a flirty tone as she approaches. The Alolan Ninetales immediately nods eagerly, blushing lightly as she takes the cat's paw.

"Thank you," Gwen exclaims with an excited twinkle in her eye as the two of them strut over to the other dancing students, leaving Vee and Tric alone.

"She better show up soon," Tric growls as he taps his right front paw against the ground impatiently. Vee uses a ribbon to pat him on the back, trying to comfort him despite feeling just as annoyed.

"I'm sure she's gonna walk up to us at any moment," the Sylveon lies, trying to convince herself more than the Luxray. "We just need to be-"

"I'M HERE!!!" Snow exclaims as she rushes into the couple, breathless and hunched over as she pants heavily. The two can't stop their surprised yelps upon seeing her, the chaotic mess of a Hisuian Zoroark completely different than the usual neat and orderly girl they see. "I've… got… the… info!"

She weakly lifts up the envelope that contains the legal information they need to put Zane where he belongs. Vee does a small nod of thanks as she takes it. "Great… Um… Y-Yeah, this'll help…"

Things are now an awkward silence, none of the three knowing what to say now. After a bit, Snow speaks up. "I'm sorry. I truly am. You didn't deserve what I did to you. I know I can't fix what I did, but just know that I do consider you a friend and regret any pain I have caused you."

The couple glances at each other with uncertainty before Vee responds. "Thanks… I'll keep that in mind."

Snow nods with a well maintained emotionless face, but the sad drop of her eyes shows her true feelings. "Alright… Well… I planned on apologizing to Dexter to but it seems that he's busy. I'll talk to him tomorrow. Instead, I'll make good use of my five dollars and have a bit of fun. Ciao!"

The Baneful Fox gives a small bow before leaving Vee and Tric. The two stare down at the paper Snow left them before glancing around at their friends, who are all enjoying the party. "Think we should wait until tomorrow to take action," the Electric type suggests.

"Yeah, that sounds good," the Sylveon agrees as she puts the envelope in her bright blue dress' pocket. "Now how about we enjoy our night and dance?"

Tric smiles at her and nods happily. "Yeah! That would be nice," he replies as he takes her paw into his and leads her into the other dancing students. As they go a pair of silent eyes watch them, glaring at the couple with pure hate.

"Pathetic," Thur grumbles lowly as he watches the Sylveon and Luxray waltz through the crowd together. "The two idiots get to have a good time while I'm stuck hiding in the corner despite doing nothing wrong!"

He continues to glower at the students, not knowing what to do but knowing he wants to do something. He wants to cause a little bit of mayhem. Nothing big, not wanting to get caught, but just enough to ruin everyone's time and feel better about himself. As his eyes land on the punch bowl he thinks of something brilliant!

"A little bit of poison would be fun," he thinks with a smirk as she sneakily slips over to the drinks. As he gets closer to the red liquid, ready to drip some of his toxic sweat into it, Snow walks in front of him, blocking his path.

"I know you're plotting something," she mutters to him, not at all aggressive but still assertive. "I'm not going to let you."

"Why not, short stack" the Umbreon shoots back angrily as he gets ready to fight. "You have no reason to care what happens to these people after they all betrayed you!"

"Has it ever occurred to you that maybe you're in the wrong," Snow questions, which takes Thur completely off guard.

"Well… I… Um…" he attempts to find words but can't think of anything to say in response. He knows she's right but he can't admit that…

"Come on. You had to have done something to get in here. Let's make sure what you did was worth it," Snow offers as she extends a claw. The Dark type eyes it then her before taking it with a sigh.

"Only because I have nothing better to do," he grumbles with no real bite to the words.

"That's no problem at all," the Hisuian Zoroark responds with a soft smile as they slowly trot to the other dancing teens, making sure to avoid the teachers' line of sight.

— — —(I did not intend that romantically between Thur and Snow, just trying to build a friendship between them but honestly that's up to y'all)

A river of students flood out of the High School as the dance comes to an end. Principal Mewtwo watches them all, making sure no one tries to pull a stupid last minute stunt. Snow and Thur think they got away with sneaking in and out, but the teachers knew they were there the whole time. They intentionally turned a blind eye. Vee and Tric are near the back, unaware the whereabouts of their friends but not looking for them either.

"This was a really fun night," the Luxray in a suit says with a smile, watching the Sylveon with a loving expression. The Fairy type simply nods, not paying much attention. Tric tilts his head with a frown. "What's wrong, Vee?"

"O-Oh… Um, sorry. I was just thinking about how sad it is Devil missed out on all this," she answers sadly. She then looks up, meeting her boyfriend's eyes with a hopeful plead. "Could we please go visit him now?"

Tric wants nothing more than to say no. He's not threatened by the aggressive Weavile. No, not at all. The Electric type knows Vee is his. He just doesn't like Devil or anything he does. He doesn't want his girlfriend around that type of guy. Yeah, that's what it is…

"Um, well…" he is about to turn her down, but when he looks into her wide, longing eyes he finds himself unable to. "Fine," he agrees with a sigh of defeat. The Sylveon immediately breaks into a painfully wide smile of joy as she pulls him into a hug.

"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!" she chants excitedly before letting him go and rushing ahead, dragging Tric along with her ribbon. "Let's go!"

(Oh, yeah. Tric is TOTALLY not threatened…)

Angel takes the same turn again for probably the thousandth time in this last hour as she completes another circle. Her plan was to drive back to the dorm and continue on about life. She wanted to forget this mess and act like nothing ever happened. The thought of her brother never waking up is… heartbreaking, to say the least. But ever since she left she hasn't been able to get herself to drive home, instead doing a constant loop a couple blocks away from the hospital. She can't get herself to leave him.

She started the drive at noon and the sky is pitch black now. She doesn't feel tired, though, instead pushing the gas pedal down harder as she turns her music up. She thinks the road and sounds should be enough to drown out her panicked thoughts, but it's not.

"You knew this day would come," she silently growls to herself as her claws dig deeper into the wheel. "That little devil would get himself into something that was way more than he could handle. You told yourself you would straighten him out. Teach him how to harness his chaos and be less trouble. But you never did. Instead you left him for college and got 'too busy' to call. Some sister you are!"

As her anger rises so does her speed, subconsciously pressing harder against the accelerator as she cruises down the empty street. "In a way, this is your fault," her thoughts continue as she makes a sharp right. "It's because you weren't there to help him that he's in the hospital. You're one pathetic excuse of a sist-"

"WHOA!!!" All her thoughts are cut off as two kids cross the the road. She's going too fast to stop, so instead she slams her foot into the break and aggressively yanks the wheel to the left. The car spins over, barely avoiding the children and ramming into the k-rail, nearly tipping the vehicle in the process. Angel barely notices, though, more concerned about the Pokemon she almost hit.

"Are you two alright," she asks in panic as she hurries out the car and up to the young Sylveon and Luxray. The Fairy type gives a shaky, wide eyed nod as the Electric type stares silently at where the speeding automobile was.

"Y-Yeah…" the Sylveon answers in a quiet mutter. "I-I think so…"

"I am so sorry! I-I didn't expect anyone out at this time of night! Where are y'all's parents," the Sneasler quickly exclaims, looking around at the empty surroundings before focusing back on the traumatized teens.

"We just got done at our High School dance and was going to visit a friend in the hospital," the Eeveelution explains, seeming a bit more relaxed now but still shook up.

"A friend at the hospital," Angel repeats with question, wondering if it could be her currently injured brother. "D-Do you mind telling me their name?"

"Devil," the girl answers, the reckless driver gasping with surprise.

"I… I didn't think Ashley had any friends…" the Free Climb Pokemon says mostly to herself. When the Sylveon tilts her head with confusion she explains. "Oh, sorry. Your friend is my little brother."

"But you said the name Ashley," the Luxray suddenly butts in, seeming to over his shock.

"Yeah, that's Devil's real name," Angel tells them, a small smile forming on her lips. "He hates the name…"

"That's kinda funny," the Electric type says with a small laugh, quickly getting a glare from his friend. "A-Actually, it's not. Just a name, you know?"

The Sylveon takes this answer with a small nod before turning back to the Sneasler. "Hey, um, would you mind giving us a ride to the hospital?"

"WHAT!?" Angel and the male exclaim in unison.

"You expect me to get into a car with her after her driving nearly killed me," the Luxray practically shouts, getting a simple "Yeah" from the Fairy type.

"I mean, I could," the Poison/Fighting type answers as she slowly walks back to the now dented vehicle. "But I can't promise my driving will be better."

"That's fine," the Sylveon replies, grabbing the Gleam Eyes Pokemon with her ribbons and dragging him into the car against his will.

"Buckle up and hold onto something," Angel tells them as she starts up the ride. "You'll need something to steady ya."
