In PMD Rescue Team DX, I named a Gardevoir “Viridi”, after the Kid Icarus character. (It also means green)


I also got a Zubat and named it ZuWeeMama

    In my recent playthrough of Pokemon Ultra Sun, I nicknamed all my Pokemon after Percy Jackson/Rick Riordan characters. Haven't yet finished, but my team includes:

    Percy the Primarina (after Percy Jackson)

    Ethan the Honchkrow (after Ethan Nakamura)

    Jack the Lurantis (after Jack the sword in Magnus Chase)

    And...that's all I can really remember off the top of my head.

    In my Violet competitive team from when the game first came out, I named my Ting-Lu “Holey Bowly!” and my Cyclizar “Honda Civic”.

    I’m an interesting player.

    First Pokemon I caught in Heart Gold was a Hoothoot named "Basketball", that nickname is one that I always remember for some reason. Also in Platinum I had a Porygon named "FunkyMonky" lol.

    Named myself Waterfall when playing as a Squirtle in PMDEoS (or maybe it was DX?) and it just ended up being my name in Masters EX somehow. I can't really remember many normal Pokémon nicknames though since I always nickname my Pokémon.

    the legendary fish...

    I named a Magikarp fish at the beginning of Scarlet and Violet and soon became the powerhouse of my entire team after evolving into Gyarados being my "final gambit" thinking of cool Pokemon TV show intros while I send him out.
