Mimi is an artist. If you didn't get that part, I have concerns. Anyway, she's introverted and either skips class or is so quiet in class no one even notices her. She was there to take the video because she didn't want to go to the assembly (too many people, too crowded) and saw Devil so she was following him when that started up. She wasn't sure what to do so she recorded it and later gave the video to the gang because they seemed like they'd be able to do something with it. And while she seems like a creepy mysterious helper in that scene, internally that was very nerve-wracking for her. She's sweet and affectionate when she's actually close to someone, but she never is.
The important part is that introverted Mimi (introvert, non-talking, always skipping class, kind of creepy) is not a disguise for sweet Mimi (affectionate, sweet, makes drawings of all kinds). They both are true. The nicer side of Mimi just only emerges with the rest of her when she trusts someone.
And if you're wondering why she chose to follow Devil (you probably aren't but I'm going to explain anyway), if you look at her last scene where she'd drawn a heart and closed it because she was afraid of Devil seeing it… Yeah. She's had a crush on him since before he was Devil (which was actually only one year ago).
And yes, 'them' arguing downstairs are her parents.
By the way the nickname Devil came from Angel calling him a little Devil and he adopted it as his real name before she went to college!I don't want Mimi's character to get messed up, so… I gotta give a more in-depth explanation than my hints.
You're welcome! I wanted to go back to when I had Vee talk with Snow, at first they were sort of friends. I left out Obsidian because, again, I can only remember him from like one sentence in one chapter and Dexter is funnier (I was sad when he went to the computer lab and never returned). And yeah the math problems are 8th grade ish because I didn't know what they should learn…2 -
